Kerygma Conference 2010 at BSP Davao Convention Center

I have never seen Bo Sanchez in person, but I'm familiar with his works and especially with his magazine Kerygma,I really like the topics discuss in it, experiences of people and his advice to them.

The Kergyma Conference 2010 was held at BSP Davao Convention Center last Saturday December 4. And it was a success, the place was filled with people eager to see Bo and the other speaker, and I know they were not disappointed. Bo's topic about the prodigal son was enlightening, he gave such deep meaning to the story the made me say "Ohhh yun pala yun" hehehe. Never knew there was such a deep meaning to the story about forgiveness. The other speaker was Pio Español and Obet Cabrillas. After the break there was a Mass and a Healing Service. I just can't wait for the following year for the Kerygma Conference to come back here in Davao.

Lachmi Shopping Mall

Ive been busy lately especially at work, and when i come home, I'm too tired to blog. But a few days of rest got me back on track. One popular shopping mall here in Davao City where you can find things which are very nice for a very affordable price is the Lachmi Shopping Mall located at the heart of downtown area in San Pedro Street. You can find nice bags, load or burn MP3's, computers, t shirts and more.

Camiguin 2010: Katibawasan Falls

Our last stop for our 2nd day of the tour, our first stop was the White Island, and the last is the Katibawasan falls. What can I say, our tour for the second day was the best, we had a blast when we visited the White Island, then when we arrive at the Katibawasan Falls we where also amaze by this 250 feet high water falls. Its was such a nice place to cool off, as if the White Island was not enough the falls was also a great place to take a dip into. I hope i can come back here in Camiguin, because we only have a little time to enjoy the sites.

Bohol

Last May we had our retreat at Bohol, which is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the Philippines. And the first thing i want to see when I get there is the tarsier, an endangered species found here at Bohol.

The Tarsier was so tiny as seen above and smelly to, the care takers caution us not to use flash on our cameras so as not to kill the Tarsier( Uhhhh? are you serious??) i dunno maybe because those creatures are nocturnal and are not familiar with flashes of light directly in their eyes. Poor little thing one of my friends forgot to turn off his flash and the Tarsier bowed his head and closed its eyes, I thought it might fall and die or something, glad it didn't.
