Is Breast Implants Safe for Women?

Some women do love to have breast implants, some for the purpose of increasing the size of their breast, some just for reconstruction surgery. Some even go the distance as having the size increase to a much bigger size, don't know how they can manage to carry those thing for the whole day. But lets get back to out topic, is it safe?

Women need to beware that while breast implants are safe, they do not meant to last a lifetime and could lead to problems later on. Breast implants are not lifetime devices. The longer a woman has silicone gel filled breast implants, the more likely she is to experience complications. The FDA(Food and Drug Administration) approve the sale of silicone breast implants in November 2006 for women age 22 and above.

But in updated safety guidelines it warned that one in five women who have had breast implants to increase their cup size or for reconstruction surgery will have to undergo another operations within 10 years.

Most complications occur from hardening of the breast tissue around the implant, from a rupturing of the implant, or wrinkling, asymmetry scarring, pain and infection.

A Not So Healthy Week

I'm having a bad week, in terms of health, I have a stiff neck last week. Our company nurse gave me a medicine Alaxan but upon taking the meds after an hour, I realize my left eye is already beginning to turn red and is beginning swell, it turns out I had an allergic reaction to the medicine Alaxan. I was given a meds for the allergy, so my allergic reaction has stop,but my stiff neck still hurt a bit. I thought things will be alright, but to my surprise now I my sinusitis began to hit me. Man this week was really a down for me. I just hope thing would be better next week.
