Herbert Chavez of the Philippines is Guinness 2012 Most Superman Memorabilia. As of February 22, 2012, Herbert Chavez had a collection of 1,253 Superman related items. They included life size statues, figurines, clothing, cushion and duvet covers, and comics and posters.

Herbert has taken his obsession with the Man of Steel to even greater extremes -  he has admitted to having a nose job, chin augmentation, silicone lip injections and thigh implants to make himself look like his superhero.

I do admire his passion for collecting those Superman memorabilia but to go to the extreme of having to go to surgery to look like Superman is a bit creepy if I may say so. 

The Mindanao Toy Convention 2011 at Gaisano Mall Davao

The Mindanao Toy Convention this year 2011 was held at the Gaisano Mall Davao from May 2 to 8 2011. There was plenty of nice toys that were displayed some of it I'm not familiar with. Time really fly fast. Looking at all display I can only name a few I recognize. Here are some photos of the exhibit.

Of course the ever so popular Gundam

I know shes from the final fantasy, just can't seem to remember her name though (old age kicking in I think hahaha)

There is also some x-men characters like Phoenix and Rogue

1st Mindanao Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention

Toys, toys and lots of toys. The Gaisano Mall Davao held the 1st Mindanao Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention. And there was plenty of toys and collectibles to feast your eyes. I notice that most of the toys there where Gundam, well who doesn't like robot. There where also the usual miniature army toys. My brother got one as a gift very long ago. And we did not even finish assembling the aircraft carrier hahahaha. But upon seeing one at the display made me praise the person who had the patient to built it. i don't even know the names of some of the display, some of the characters are new to me. Well not to make things longer, here are some of the nice photos I have taken during my visit.
