Kerygma Conference 2010 at BSP Davao Convention Center

Photobucket

I have never seen Bo Sanchez in person, but I'm familiar with his works and especially with his magazine Kerygma,I really like the topics discuss in it, experiences of people and his advice to them.

The Kergyma Conference 2010 was held at BSP Davao Convention Center last Saturday December 4. And it was a success, the place was filled with people eager to see Bo and the other speaker, and I know they were not disappointed. Bo's topic about the prodigal son was enlightening, he gave such deep meaning to the story the made me say "Ohhh yun pala yun" hehehe. Never knew there was such a deep meaning to the story about forgiveness. The other speaker was Pio Español and Obet Cabrillas. After the break there was a Mass and a Healing Service. I just can't wait for the following year for the Kerygma Conference to come back here in Davao.

Lachmi Shopping Mall

Ive been busy lately especially at work, and when i come home, I'm too tired to blog. But a few days of rest got me back on track. One popular shopping mall here in Davao City where you can find things which are very nice for a very affordable price is the Lachmi Shopping Mall located at the heart of downtown area in San Pedro Street. You can find nice bags, load or burn MP3's, computers, t shirts and more.

1st Mindanao Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention

Toys, toys and lots of toys. The Gaisano Mall Davao held the 1st Mindanao Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention. And there was plenty of toys and collectibles to feast your eyes. I notice that most of the toys there where Gundam, well who doesn't like robot. There where also the usual miniature army toys. My brother got one as a gift very long ago. And we did not even finish assembling the aircraft carrier hahahaha. But upon seeing one at the display made me praise the person who had the patient to built it. i don't even know the names of some of the display, some of the characters are new to me. Well not to make things longer, here are some of the nice photos I have taken during my visit.

Camiguin 2010: Walkway to the old volcano and stations of the cross

Upon arriving Camiguin, we had to put our bags on our designated rooms, I had been group with my wife's office mate since I just tag along with their tour. I was on high spirit for this tour since, plenty of people said there are plenty of nice attractions in Camiguin. Our first destination is the "WALKWAY to the OLD VOLCANO and STATIONS of the CROSS" since it was raining we didn't go up to the walkway. Although just by going to the first station made me think its just like the walkway we had going to Shrine in Davao City. Nothing special, a little bit disappointed. Although if given an ample amount of time I would have tried walking it way to the top.

Garden of Malasag Eco Tourism Village 2010

Hello there, I'm glad to be back. It was a fun and enjoyable vacation. My wife was having their annual company retreat in Cagayan de Oro. I on the other hand followed her during their last day of the retreat. Because they will be having a side trip to Camiguin so ill be joining them there. Upon arriving at Cagayan, I settled my thing where I'm staying then went to where my wife is having her retreat. They just have finish going to mass so they where all vacant on that time to explore Cagayan. Since their retreat is near the Eco Tourism Village, I told her that we start there before going to the downtown proper to buy snacks and all for the Camiguin trip for the following day. And we were not disappointed because the place was just great, although still under develop it was that nice already. Here are some of the pics during our visit.

Eat All You can at Tita D'z Buffet

I really like to go to an eat all you can buffet. Paying just 99 pesos for an eat all you can is a nice price for a heavy eater like me, well most men are. What I like about this place is that it can be found in the heart of downtown area at Iñigo Street, Davao City. And the most important of all, of course is the food, and they have plenty of it. Although my favorite kinilaw wasn't served yet. There were other tasty foods already served such as.
