Our last stop for the 1st day of our tour was the Ardent Hot Spring, this place was also nice, it had several pools but each pool has a different depth and warmth. The pool is about 40 degrees Celsius in warmth, which is coming from the volcanic activity of Mount Hibok-Hibok. The place in the pool area is a bit dark though with the net protecting the area above for fallen leaves and more. I let my feet take a dip in the pool and its really warm. A really great place to relax. But for me it would be nice to go there not on the busy days especially since we went there on Saturday and the place was crowded so is the pool.

Camiguin 2010: Sto. Niño Cold Spring
Our 5th destination in Camiguin is the Sto. Niño Cold Spring. When we arrive there, when I look at the pool, its just like a massive lake or lagoon. Its big and its deep, i think it almost 8 foot deep. But when i submerge my feet in it. Its really that cold, I would really like to take a dip into it, the crystal clear and clean water was really tempting. But I resisted since i don't know how to swim hahahaha, and its deep, an 8 foot deep water or even 6 feet can already scare me away. But the place was nice, clean and there a big pool and a small one for children to swim to. During this time it was not raining heheheheh.

Camiguin 2010: Soda Swimming Pool
The 4th stop in our tour of Camiguin is the Soda Swimming Pool. The name itself was intriguing to me since, some locals would say that the pool taste like soda, WHOAAAA, really, my mind was already filled with questions like what would it taste like?? coke perhaps or maybe pepsi hehehehehe. As we arrive at the site. When I look at the pool, hmmm its just your typical swimming pool, so i ask a local who's taking a dip at the pool, why was it called Soda Swimming Pool? he said to jump to the pool and taste it yourself to know it. WHATTTTT. I told to myself, is this guy serious he wanted me to taste the pool to see if it's really taste like soda( the pool where a number of unknown stranger have dive in to carrying with them whatever dirt or disease in their body, not to mention maybe someone has secretly piss on the pool "EXAGGERATING IN THIS ONE BUT IT CAN HAPPEN") and he want me to drink it!!! of course i wont drink it. Lucky me there was this one person who said that this was called the Soda Swimming Pool because of its resemblance to the bubbly characteristic of a soda. Ohhh so that's it. hmmm. If you decide to come to Camiguin with your friends and you happen to visit this place, don't tell them the secret ok hahahahaha, it would be a good prank to put on your friends (LET THEM TASTE IT HEHEHEHE).

Camiguin 2010: 16th Century Guiob Church Ruins
Our third stop for our 1st day on our tour is the 16th Century Guiob Ruins. Just by reading the title, not much too look at since its all a pile of ruins, the church was heavily damage during a volcanic eruption on 1871, leaving behind a bunch of large walls and a belltower. Although i can't picture it out, the belltower i mean. And as i said on my previous post (IT WAS RAINING!!!).
i did not get to take the pic of the belltower from a distance since it was RAINING, but my wife and her friends was still in high spirits.

Camiguin 2010: Sunken Cemetery
Our second destination on our tour to Camiguin is the Sunken Cemetery. It was a nice site to look at, I have seen people at the cross already when we arrive, they just cross the sea via a small boat or ("bangka" if I were to call it). It would be nice to cross it too, although the wind that time was strong and as I mentioned before on my post, it was raining. And I don't know how to swim if the little boat were to capsize due to the strong wind. And there was little time to spare, (A suggestion for those who want to tour Camiguin. Bring your own car or rent one, rented tours there cost much and have little time for you to really roam around the site. Your better off with a map and a car.)

Camiguin 2010: Walkway to the old volcano and stations of the cross
Upon arriving Camiguin, we had to put our bags on our designated rooms, I had been group with my wife's office mate since I just tag along with their tour. I was on high spirit for this tour since, plenty of people said there are plenty of nice attractions in Camiguin. Our first destination is the "WALKWAY to the OLD VOLCANO and STATIONS of the CROSS" since it was raining we didn't go up to the walkway. Although just by going to the first station made me think its just like the walkway we had going to Shrine in Davao City. Nothing special, a little bit disappointed. Although if given an ample amount of time I would have tried walking it way to the top.

Camiguin 2010: White Island
The White Island in Camiguin for me is the best place we have visited in Camiguin. We woke up early in the morning about 4 am to go to the White Island. The guide had told us that we must be early since the much of the Island will not be visible come afternoon. So I joined my wife and his co workers together with the tour guide to go to the White Island. I was still a bit sleepy since its really early in the morning but open arriving at the beach and the White Island was just minutes away. Just looking at the island from the beach was already exciting. We had to ride a small boat to go to the White Island (the boat can carry only 6-7 person) and I'm glad the weather cooperated (the winds was calm that day, which made me feel at ease since i don't know how to swim hahahaha). Then when we arrive at the White Island, man it took my breath away, it was such a beautiful site to look at, white sand, dark blue sea. It was just breathtaking. Here are some photos i have taken of the place.
A pic from the beach where we wait for the small boat to come pick us, you could see the White Island from here already.
A beautiful site when we arrive at the White Island
My wife (wrap in the white towel) together with his friends and co workers enjoying every moment in the island. (Notice the cloud formation at the back? Nice isnt it)
A nice view of the sunrise, it was around 5 am i think?
just wait till the sun rises up
When the sun finally shown its rays, the White Island beauty shifts to high gear.
More and more people arrive
Of course, no island would be without babes in bikini.

Camiguin 2010: Animal Photo Hunting
While in Camiguin and enjoying the sites there, I also began hunting for some animals to shoot with my cam. Though my camera is not that powerful compare to the almighty SLR camera that professional photographers have. I just want to test my cam capabilities and limits hehehe. So here I am in Camiguin with my wife and her officemates. While they where busy enjoying the sites, and after taking photos of the place, i began searching for animals to shoot with my cam, and boy was there plenty.
I took this one when it was already dark, just your ordinary frog
A bird at the ceiling, they were nesting in the gutter
Its a lizard, when my wifes officemate saw this one they said that the pointy thing underneath the lizards mouth can heal something ( i forgot what it is hehehehe)
I think this one is a humming bird, i had to shoot at it at a long range so it wont fly a way
Now this one is a humming bird, its clearer than the first one since i have taken this at a near angle since the bird was busy checking out the flowers.
A blue dragonfly, a little blurry since i was far from it and i have a shacky hands that time hehehehe. I took this using the full zoom of the camera.
A lizard changing its skin, i can't really take a good look at its head.
Another lizard, took this one using the full zoom of my cam, but my hands where as steady as a rock. The result is much clearer compared to the one i took with the dragonfly.

this snake was also in the tree, where I was taking photo of the lizard above. And i was surprise and frightened of course, i didnt notice the snake while i was busy taking photo's of the lizard, i just notice it when it began to move, and because of that snake I have to stop my Animal Photo Hunting hehehehhe, im not gonna wait for some animals that are way to scary than that snake.
